Notes & tolerances: Drawn tubing offers tighter OD, ovality, and wall tolerances; extruded tubing has larger tolerances. Many thin-wall drawn round sizes telescope; .058" wall will telescope once fully deburred.

FAQ: Choosing Thin-Wall Aluminum Tubing

Drawn vs. extruded

Drawn tubing is preferred when telescoping fit, straightness, and tight tolerances are critical. Extruded is excellent for cost-effective strength and fabrication.

Finishes available

Many SKUs stock Mill; some stock Silver or Black (anodized or paint). Use the Finish filter to narrow results quickly.

Telescoping

Telescoping compatibility depends on OD, wall tolerance, and deburring. Always confirm fit with a physical sample for production runs.
