Telescopic Tubing Locks

Telescopic tubing locks offer infinite adjustability. Use with Testrite's telescopic aluminum tubing, or use with other tubing.

These telescopic tubing clamps are designed to allow one tube to telescope inside of another tube. They're designed to both lock a tube in a specific position, as well as to reduce the play between the inside and outside tube.

We offer round telescoping tubing clamps for use with round tubing as well as for square telescopic tubing clamps for square tubing in the sizes specified below.

These telescopic tubing locking mechanisms have been used in a wide variety of applications, from locks for telescopic IV stands, to hunting, visual displays to mining, and more. When paired with compatible tubing, these enable you to make a locking telescoping pole with these telescoping locking mechanisms. Our aluminum tube fittings can be used with a range of sizes for telescoping one tube inside another. Our B Lock and L Lock can also be used as a telescopic steel tube fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a telescopic tubing lock?
Telescope tubes slide a smaller tube inside a larger tube. A Telescopic Tubing Lock is an additional piece that allows you to lock the inner tube at a specific point. These parts can go by many names including telescoping tubing lock, telescopic tube clamp, and tube lever lock, and more.
How do you decide on a telescopic tubing lock?
First, you need to find a lock that fits with the tube sizes you plan to use. Make sure the tubes will telescope one inside the other, not all tubing will. Second, determine what style of tubing lock you want. A split collar lock with a knob may achieve the strongest hold but requires 2 hands to operate. A lever lock may not have as strong a hold, but can be opened and closed with one hand.
Where can I get tubing that is guaranteed to telescope?
Testrite Aluminum offers both aluminum tubing that’s guaranteed to telescope in round and square, and also offers telescopic tubing locks.
Are there adjustable telescopic tubing locks for non-nominal sizes, like Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT Tubing)?
Yes, Testrite Aluminum offers Telescopic Tubing Locks for EMT Tubing sizes. Our sister entity, www.TestriteOEM.com fabricates tubing locks for custom tube sizes in volume.
